DRIVER side water leak

OK, New England is drowning, and hence so is my car. I left for my sisters graduation just as the rain started and I got back today to find a pool of water on the entire driver side (pedals to back seat). I happened to be in the process of fixing other leaks all over the car recently and those are all either protected temporarily or fixed (I HATE RANDOM DRIPS FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOF!)

Ok, so I checked it out and I think it is coming from under the “resting” pedal, that pedal way over to the left of the clutch pedal where you can put your lazy foot when your driving for hours on end. Basically just looks like some water is “coming out from under the rubber”. Is this against where the water drains from below the windshield? (I am in the middle of replacing the seals for the air vent leak passenger side, so the driver side below the windshield is about as exposed as it gets). I figure a seal may have gone bad and allowed water to leak through from the outside.

Any other ideas? I am just looking for suggestions for what else to look for tomorrow when I go out to the car and see whats goin on. Everything above that pedal appears to be bone dry. The sun roof drain hoses all appear to work properly.

Thanks!

(I plan on getting some kind of leak help thread going once my car stops drowning. 2-3 months of fixing leaks takes it’s tole with time and almost every leak I get is abnormal or at least throws a twist at me. I hope people aren’t constantly dealing with these).

what kind of twit puts the hood release cable enclosure gasket/seal behind the fuse box instead of in the quarter sized hole directly under a water drain? how are some mechanics this dumb, confused, or just plain horrible?..

2 gallons ± no emptied from my passenger compartment. (when you poked it, it was like a water bed! woo!)

So the leak is coming from the hood release cable? I need to know becuz i did re route my cable and im getting water in my drivers side floor. Fixed the angle of the window etc etc and still getting leaks…help me please

So i was at the junkyard today and i seen a g2 without the dash. I looked and noticed there was a entrance under the drivers wiper blade plastic to inside the car… I wonder if thru there the water is getting in… Does anyone have an idea if this is my water problem and what should i do to fix it…
