Driver window rattle, didn't find anything in search

I searched, but couldn’t find anything useful. Sorry.

The lady that owned my car before me didn’t know how to properly close a door and always pushed on the top of the window to shut it. If there was a frame, that would be no problem. However, twelve years of pushing on the window has taken it’s toll. The driver window rattles like none other, under hard acceleration/braking/cornering, and especially over bumpy roads. Now, this is the only rattle that my car has. I would like to get rid of it. How can I do this without going to a dealer and paying an arm and a leg? Would I just pop off the door panel and tighten some screws or what? The passenger window doesn’t do this, so I know it can be fixed.

Thanks for any help… appreciate it!

yes popping off the panel and having a look instead of paying would be a good idea. if its not just an adjustment, you may need to get a new railing. they should be around 50bucks. shouldnt be hard to install either. check www.acuraautomotiveparts.com

Thanks a lot… where would I be able to get a Helms manual for the removal of the panel? Murray’s? Autozone?
