yea, from what i was told when i asked this same question on another board they are junk.
So they arent even worth buying? I don’t care about peformance I jsut want the car lowerd.
If that’s the case, save yourself the money and ride quality and just cut the springs.
So, becuase you want it lowered you’d rather spend money on a set of shitty coil overs and not something of decent quality, something you wont have to replace shortly after installing them? Also, the ride would be bouncy as fuck…
Do what you want, its your ride adn ultimately your safety.
NEVER EVER EVER CUT YOUR SPRINGS! that is the worst piece of advice EVER.
dropzone coils suck. they are waaaaaaaaaaay to stiff for their given applications and their struts never break in properly. total junk. coilover sleeves are a better option. you can get them fairly cheap from skunk2 or ground control.
it is about his safety but it’s about others’ too. do you want someeone rollin next to you on cut springs or a crappy suspension?
get some omni power full coilovers. 600-650 bucks and you’ll actaully have a good ride because you’ll actaully have good suspension.
What’s the best cheapest adjustable coil over kit? I was looking at theses as well.

I wasn’t being serious. Just trying to make a point! If you don’t care about your safety or performance, then why not? What makes generic coilovers with absolutely NO research and developement behind them any better than cut springs? I see no difference, but I’m open to learn something new.
