duplicolor pre-mixed?

whats up fells. i just went to pep boys and spent 174 bucks on autobody parts. 2 packs of assortment sandpaper, bondo, and a total of six quarts of the pre mixed paint. im wondering if anyone has used the duplicolor pre-mixed paint… i was inspired by the thred with the two tone paint job. happy new year to all da owners in pretty fucked up lol… any sorts of feedbck would be appreciated.

i honestly think duplicolor is junk (shrugs) but thats my opinon haha

So this is a single stage paint ? no clear ? its going to be and issue if this car is DD

I would have bought Omni paint and clear reducer hardener and some auto primer .

you can get 1 gallon of paint ,1 gallon of reducer ,bottle of hardner and a gallon of clear for $300 .

good lcuk with the paint job and post lots of pics :hugs:

oh i definatly will… all i know is the can says pre-mixed so all you have to do is throw it in the gun and ur set to spray. i also bought clear coat…

its going to be interesting but im trying this on my trunk lid with semi gloss black

i have all the gear to spray but don’t feel im good enought to do my own car yet.
and i really don’t have a good spot i can spray. so if it works out on my lid then i might just do the whole car the same way

good luck on the roller trick . your paint will fade and then turn to dust . oh and what they dont tell you is that it takes about 10 hours to sand all the bubbles and paint while applying different coats . if you want to do a cheap and decent paint job use spray paint . i did it and it looks great it doesnt look like it was a rattle can job at all .

dat junk is wak i took me 1 whole quart of that clear to make my under hood shine its junk. if u are on a budget get crossfire clear napa sales it
