has anyone ever dyed there floor carpet?if so how?and what type of dye was used?

i used vinyl dye and a scrub brush, you will need to use the brush to comb all the fibers in one direction, and paint it then keep brudhing
i did it in about 6 directions works great but dosn’t last a very long time
im in the process. and my friend has done it. it looks like genuine JDM carpetting. you have to bleach it, in a tub works the best, let it sit for a few hours, then after, rinse, then clean out tub, then pour in 2 bottles of red cloth dye from walgreens, or a cloth store. then fill with water, mix, then soak the carpet in there for a while. i had problems doing mine, cause i tried doing it in a small tiny tub, for storing things, not really a tub, then some parts of the carpet didnt get bleached.
