e bay springs?

Hello everyone,
I just picked up a 92 integra da and I was wndering if anybody knew anything about ebay springs, scince the idiot who owned the car before me cut them really low (besides cuting some plastic interior moldings and painting it flat black) .
thanks in advance.

allll depends on whether or not you buy “Skunk2 ebay” or “insert-random-motorsport-name-here ebay”…

if i were you, i’d find an OEM setup cheap… then save back for something legit. of course, that all depends on what kinda driving you’ll be doing.

Just regular daily driving and take it to whoop some a$$ at night! What do you suggest?

name brand ebay would be fine then. or you can shell out just a little extra for some sleeves. it’s all personal preference unless your going for a full coil setup… then the more you pay, the more you get.

I apoligize I mean lowering springs!!!

You’ll have to get new shocks more then likely as well, if last owner cut them that low he more then likely left the stock shocks and they are probably toast anyway. Do it right, do it once, no need to pay and have the suspension pulled out twice. Just search on here, there’s slot of info on suspension setups good and bad.

If you’re looking for something semi-cheap and reliable, the Eibach Sportlines that the previous owner had on my DC have been great… have had numerous compliments on how the car looks and how the ride feels, by friends that have ridden in it. This is all on oem struts. Graned, they will wear out faster than an aftermarket strut; say, KYB etc… but on decent oem struts, I don’t see it as being a huge problem.

I dunno if Eibachs have a Sportline setup for our DAs, but if so, its definitely a decent option. But of course a real coilover setup is best, with a strut that is designed to be lowered.

A cheap coilover alternative is the Skunk2 Pro-C (I believe, maybe its the Pro-S, I can’t remember for sure) setup… I am running them on my DA and have had nothing but positive things to say about them. For a $500 coilover system, they are probably the best bang for your buck.
