just wondering, I’m not calling BS on anyone, but why do west coast times seem quicker than east, but traps are lower. for example, i recently ran my 91 with a 96 B18B stock and T3 turbo @6psi. ran 14.446@100.58 (this is in GA). now on some posts on here i’ve seen similiar setups running 13.5@96 on west coast. now somethhing doesn’t add up or does the sealevel thing have something to do with this? now don’t comeback with west coast cars are just faster because that is bull$hit. just something to discuss
Lots of factors. Tires and pressure, driver, weather, elevation, etc…
West Coast cars are just faster. :stare:
the weather is nicer in cali, so people are outside more, more active and skinnier, therefore they are on average lighter than those on the east coast and there cars are faster DUH! :dunno:
that has to be the dumbest reply on the site^
^^^^you honestly think im serious, wow just wow  :gtfo:
well, i do weigh 240. my nephew can have better times on me in my car. i think its like 1/10th sec for every hundred pounds or something like that
your time difference will be in elevation… the lower elevation, the faster the time. Proven fact. So, lets say a g2 ran a 13.3 in southern florida, bring it up here to Ky and it’ll run a 14.3-14.5… It all has to do with pressure, tempature, and humidity (which all varies with elevation)
