T3ggythang- what company did you buy through? Im trying to find the black housings that have the amber corner reflector. All the ones on ebay have the crome reflector.

Just bought these yesterday, finally found them with a amber corner reflector. I plan on painting the unpainted part on the corner section.

EbayDM lights. good figment but a lot of scatter. significantly more light out put and doing the 9007 conversion is very easy to do. the soldering is not too difficult. even for my first time doing it. and once you smoke the little corner part they look very evyl, specially ona white car. :naughty:

No, i bought through there ebay store, $157 shipped.
It was $157 ebaydm lights or brand new oem jdm lights which would set me back $500. I think the lights will look clean after i paint the unpainted section of the corner light. Im thinking of swapping a HID kit aswell.

This may sound like a stupid question, but does anyone know if these bad ass looking lights are DOT approved? I want a set but, I just know if I get some a cop will pull me over and check everything. Thanks to all the street racers the have cops on a high alert for anything import. Thanks!

Rover, you should be fine, I’ve had this light for quite sometimes, never got pulled over. Try to get the one with the amber corner one, cops like a little amber here and there. I’m from cali where cops r dicks, but so far so good though. I see them starring, but keep it cool and you should be fine :rockon:
If i were to do a projector retrofit, i’d do it on these “crystal” ones. Someone asked if they’re DOT approved, well as long as they have an amber reflector on the sides it should be fine.
i think they’d look pretty sick. S2K projectors or a Bosch kit from hidplanet.com.:ohyeah: I have a friend that retro-ed some JDM Accord headlights…yeah he had to cut em up and JB weld them. they look unique.
