are they worth buying at all? i know that the hub is a “crush” zone so if i were to get in a wreck and i want a quick release but dont want it crapping out on me after a little bit of use. should i get them from ebay or from a diff store and company? any suggestions?
most of the ebay ones tend to wear and get play after a few months from friends experiences… the one that seemed to hang the best is NRG… there’s a new one by FET but it hasnt been around that long… a lot of people use NRG because of its reputation, but it has its downsides… its kinda thick on top of the smallest momo hub… and it costs around $70
NRG and Megan Racing Hubs are great, but as mentioned are a little long. You will get used to it. I wouldnt trust any Ebay hubs, unless they are brand name. AND MAKE SURE IT DOESNT SAY “STYLE” or “TYPE.”
Actually the FET hub came out in 2000-2001…I had it for about 3 yrs now and its still in the same condition as day 1…
really??? damn… so wait… the price is still $140!?! how much was it in 2001???
bought mine for $200 back then…
thanks guys for the replies,im gonna go with a NRG and a momo hub
i got an NRG quick release and a HKB racing sports hub. the hub seems pretty solid to me. but what do i know
