well, my car is throwing a code 6, and the problem is when im holding a constant speed the car feels like it is cutting out, but then i get a surge of power, and the process repears itself. according to the teg tips is the crank angle sensor. but when i visited this site www.ecutecparts.com/ccodes/acura.html it tells me that it is the Coolant temperature sensor or circuit, which would kind of make sense because my car seems to be overcooling. also when i searched everyone who was having problems with their crank angle sensor was getting a code four. any help would be appreciated, thanks.
help please
You answered your own question. Code 6 is cooant temperature. Code 4 is CKP (crankshaft position sensor).
If you plan on doing any work on your car, you should own a repair manual. The codes are in the manuals.
well, the teg tip said that six was the CKP, so i guess i was trying to confirm that the other code list was correct. i also have a manual, ive just misplaced it. does anyone know how to go about getting the correct code put up so people in the same boat as me will not be confused. thanks for your insight whiterice02.
