ECU tricking ---> 02 sensors

does anyone know if it is possible to make an ECU think there are two O2 sensors when there is only one besides chipping the ECU? I need to know cuz I am going to be getting my PR3 ecu soon and according to hondadata the PR3 needs 2 O2 sensors, but my car only has one. I know i could get a chip on the ECU but I was hoping there is a cheaper way. thanks.

When I did my B16A swap, I just spliced the 2nd O2 sensor wire into the 1st O2 sensor wire. The ECU never knew the difference and the check engine light never came back on.

later

i just got my B18C about a month and a half ago, and just got the ECU put in today. its a PR3, Mugen chipped… Katman, over at JDMHondaParts.com, did the programming. he basically disabled the 2nd O2 sensor, and knock sensor… so i just wired up the vtec solenoid. no check engine light.

If you can… wire the 2nd O2 sensor in there properly. Splicing the 2nd o2 sensor circuit into the same o2 gives the ECU false readings and can actually hinder performance in some circumstances. It really isn’t difficult to get a bung for a 2nd o2 welded in and wiring it properly…

I got a '91 integra. Is there a place to run a second O2 sensor into the harness? or do I need to wire it all the way into the ecu. I am using my stock harness.
I seems, however, that it might actually be easier and a bit more cost effective (if I choose to buy a second O2 sensor) to have my ecu chipped. what do you think?
