ok I have read AND READ on wiring the ecu harness for a vtec swap. ok there is the vtec solenoid wire, vtec oil pressure wire, knock sensor, and 2nd o2 sensor. while looking at the wire harness (at the ecu) the pin that isn’t suppose to have anything in it (on the “a” plug) has wires in it already, same case with the “b” and “c” plug. my car is an automatic (swapping to a manual) would this be the reason for the extra wires. I have checked the ecu pin out from several sources and none of them show these wires supposing to be there. ok and this doesn’t have anything to do with the original subject but… is the timimg belt cover (upper and lower) completly necessary? what is the danger of leaving it off… and does anyone have a good way of removing the harmonic balancer pulley (without an impact wrench and or that stupid special honda tool) oh and will the HB pulley from my b18a fit on my b16a (it’s the only piece of my engine that was broken with my swap, otherwise everything else looked great, hondamotorsonline.com rules!!!)
