before I jump into this review, let me give you a little bit of background on my setup:
obd1 jdm b16a swap in a 91 integra GS converted over to obd1 via rywire conversion harness, chipped p06 ecu tuned on hondata s100.
I ordered this header about a month ago from summit racing (ceramic finish for a 99-00 civic si), and I just recently installed it today. Like most 1 piece headers, you have to drop the crossmember in order to get it on. Once that is done, everything is easy. Fitment is superb. No ground clearance issues what so ever, and no need to notch the cross member itself. The ceramic finish is by far one of the nicest i’ve seen. Unlike some other brands which tend to look dull and ashy after heated, the edlebrock, even after a ton of WOT runs, it still has a very shiny luster to it. Now for the performance. On this b16a, it pulls very hard, and sounds really nice in vtec, and quiet under normal driving conditions. I will be dyno’ing soon as I need to have my hondata retuned for sea level, but so far I am very pleased. All in all, this is probably one of the best bang for the buck headers out there and definetly worth getting (not to mention its carb legal for you cali guys)
