not with more fuel… hehe less fuel possibly… and higher octance, but I highly doubt breaking 14’s… get a test pipe off ebay… 50 bucks and you will for sure break into the 14’s
If he wants to drag race, he will, fuck off. You just sound jealous.
If high octane gas does anything it will just slow him down and waste his money.
Listen, you’ve got a 2.4 60’. The supposed rulle of thumb is that for every .10 you take off of your 60’ time, you will take .20 off your ET. So with a little luck, you can get that 14.99 by just droping a little more than a .10 off your 60’ time, which shouldn’t be hard.
Don’t tell him to go waste money on pipes and gas when he can improve his driving for free.
Because we all know that FWD is the best set-up for a road corse. FWD is the WORST set-up for EVERY type of racing, so what does it really matter which one he picks? If you aren’t going to lend any ideas put your thumbs back up your asshole and keep them off the keyboard.
Bracket racing is about consistency, not quickest time. And I drive a FWD car because 1) I live where it snows, and 2) I should be arrested for grand theft auto for the price I got my car at.
I’m not mad, I just want to make it clear that what you told him wasn’t true. I just don’t want any bad info floating around. It’s okay, you learn something new everyday.
P.S. I guess they weren’t the worst possible answers, well the first one was.
I think he meant more fuel as in running richer, so I thought you were telling him to lean it out a little, which actually might be the right idea depending on his current state of tune.
the problem is I have about 2 degrees of negative camber, even with the camber kit I bought (stupid company sold me the wrong one and went out of business so now I’m stuck with it)
so I’m sure the camber problem is affecting my 60ft… but I have been able to get lower ones (lower than 2.4) but not on that particular run
