Want to say thanks to G2IC community for all the years of assistance.
My 92 Integra was donated to Kidney Car charity yesterday.
I drove it off the lot in 1992 and really enjoyed driving it for the last 21 years.
Had it not been for this site, I would have sold it years ago - due to minor annoyances that were easily fixed with ‘teg tips’.
Knowing how to breathe new life into the car was great. Must have used most of the teg tips too.
However, 21 Canadian winters (some really harsh and salty) caused rust issues that were beyond the point of fixing.
My wife didn’t drive stick, so I drove all of the 375,000 kms myself. One driver for 21 yrs.
The car still had the original clutch and the original rad when it was donated to charity.
Anyways, thanks again!
Thanks. Looking forward, test drove some new cars. Next car is going to be a 2014 Mazda6 GS, or 2013 Subaru BRZ, or BMW 128i coupe. Leaning towards the Mazda 6 for practicality. Buying one of the above next week…

Must of been very hard for you to see it go especially if you owned it since 92 . Great props to you sir for doing what you did, I can’t really say that I can do something like that but I guess that’s what makes everyone different. I’m sure it’ll go to a good home, so now you can relax and start looking for a new Acura to put on your drive way.
Wow now that is inspiring. I think that is a great way to end a relationship with a car that you’ve had for so long, it brought a tear to my eye. I hope the next person that drives her knows that she was well taken cared of!!
