ok has anybody ever replace your boots with these, I noticed they don’t come w/any clips to go over the boots, so do you just put grease inside and slap them on.

I have these. I just smeared a bit of grease on the inside and slipped them on. Tension keeps them in place. Its best to use these on new joints or tie rods because the old boots get smashed or mushroomed when tightened down. I put them on new ball joints and kept the tie rod ones for when I replace them. So far they do their job and they are very cheap.
aight kool, I just ordered me a set direct from energy suspension since it was easier to find the parts I needed. I should of gotten the whole master kit but just need the ball joint and tie rod boots for now since they have been destroyed by me using that fork bar. I also looked at the oem acura ones, they are a bit more since w/ all them circlips needed too if you add all them up. So decided to go with this one $15 shipped. thanks, can’t wait to put them on.
I tried to use them on my accord. They were shit, they didnt seal anything and all the grease leaked out. Ill never use them again.
I wouldn’t recommend installing them on anything but new joints as an extra level of protection. Sorry if there was any confusion. Fork tools destroy boots, I only use them on joints I don’t plan on re-using.
Sorry to break it to you but you need new ball joints.
Never ever use a ball joint remover bar to separate balljoints from their spindle/hub… instead, use this technique http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISY8bGof3bQ or just whack a hammer to the spindle/hub part right below the balljoint.

yeah, thats what I was thinking too, but I’m going on a road trip for the weekend so I just need something for the trip. Hopefully nothing happs. and hopefully this package could come any sooner. I ordered it last saturday from santa monica, main place from energy sus. co. need it done before this Friday.
yup, I’ve used this tip to get to my axles, I wish I woulda found it before I started to using that fork. LOL
Energy suspension ball joint…
I bought the whole kit and gotta say these are the worst component in the box… Leaks grease and lets dirt in so you destroy your ball joints… Rest of the kit works like a champ.
I just installed these yesterday, damn I jacked up my driverside axle, it got dislocated cause I let it hang, lucky me I got lifetime warranty…and about these energy suspension ball joints, they do leak grease, the tie rod boot goes over the rod…WTF…these do suck at staying on since it does not have a clip on thread part…but overall…they work better then what I had before…
