I just received the energy suspension master kit, I’ll try to put install it and show you guys the troubles that I went to
It’s a great kit, I had no problems with mine when I used it. I would however say a couple things:
- I have heard that the ball joint boots are no good. I chose not to install these on my car.
- I’m not a fan of the front UCA bushings (as well as the rear UCA or compensator arm bushings - I forget now if those come in the kit). I never used the UCA bushings on my car and years later I bought another car which had the UCA bushings installed and they were in terrible shape. I just think the design is subpar. For the LCA’s, sway bars, steering rack and shifter the ES parts are great, but for the UCA’s I’d opt for Hardrace or OEM. For the rear trailing arms I’d go with Hardrace, OEM or Mugen. And OEM for the ball joints.
Best of luck!
Thanks for posting this. I’ll be following along with much interest. I’d like this done on my car, but I’m not sure if I could manage it myself or should best leave it for a shop to do.
