Engine Bay Space

ok fellas…i dont know about you but im tired of going under the hood of my car and not having enough space to work on certain parts of the motor. does anyone have any ideas on how to free up some space under the hood but keep things fully functional? i did some research and there is some ideas out there but i was just wondering if anyone has done them successfully…Thanks

You can relocate your battery and get a cheap air intake. Doing these two things will free up alot of space for the passenger side (while providing full functionality). I used to hate the stock air box whenever I needed to remove it. Now its really simple to take it off.

You can also safely remove the fuel evap stuff (charcoal canister, and valve). WARNING: your fuel mileage may suffer.

Other than that there’s not much you can do without impacting functionality or spending alot of money.

Anything else you remove will impact your car’s functionality. Such as power steering, cruise control and a/c.

If you have money, there are also some other aftermarket items that improve accessibility without removing functionality. Eg. Slim radiator fans/shrouds, headers, traction bars, brake booster delete, etc…
