I already searched but didn’t find much anyway…
When I start my car the engine will sometimes, just rev up a little then stall and pressing on the accelerator pedal does nothing to keep it from stalling . It does this when the engine is both cold and hot. Once I get the car started though the engine idles normal,the car runs great and it dose not stall while it is running. Any help on this would be great thanks.
Did you disconnect any vacuum lines to the manifold? Could possibly have switched some?
no none that I can think of, the closest lines I touched were the ones to install my shortram intake which was a few months ago, but I checked them today and they seem to be alright.
If all ran well after your air intake install and this is a lately thing then I’d look into the distributor being corroded. No codes?
I’m going to try to go this place to check for codes tommorow, but I have no check engine light. It could be the distributor but I replaced the cap and rotor about a year ago.
