This might be a dumb question but my friend is selling me his 98gs-r engine for cheap cause he is getting a differnet one and i was wondering if it would fit into my 90gs sadan??? If so how much would it run me to get it put in???
there are 2 great resources of this site that i’ll recommend to you:
- Teg tips: in the teg tips Engine section there is an “Engine Swap Guide” that you can download. It has VERy useful info and will answer 99% of the questions you may have about what exactly is needed to get different motors into your car.
- The search function. Its located up in the top right hand corner of the screen. Click it and you can search the message boards for all kinds of info. Chances are whatever question you have…its been answered before, so its typically best to start out w/ a search before posting. Often you get better answers and you get them faster. Plus most of the time you get more info than you would have if you had posted.
go do some research and once you got the jist of the swap you’ll probably have some specific questions you need answered…then come back and post and hopefully someone will be able to help out.
yes it will fit your car but you need a few mods read the swap guide , if its cheap i would pick it up as long as nothing is a mater with it , labor runs around 400-800 depends where you go
