Hi all,
I have read a lot about this ES-12a refrigerant and I came to the conclusion that this one is the best solution to my A/C problem but I want to confirm with you guys first so here’s the story:
My A/C had a small leak on the low pressure line and little by little it loose all the charge of the system. I replace the line a couple of days ago with a brand new one and as far as I’m concerned that is all that was wrong with my A/C, everything else was working like a charm and no oil leaks or anything like that. Now I need to recharge the system with new refrigerant and like I said this one looks like the best option for me because:
- I don’t need a license to buy it.
- It’s cheaper than R-12.
- It’s environmental friendly.
- Supposely I don’t need a vaccum to charge it in to the system.
- Supposely the molecules of this one are bigger than the ones on the R-12, meaning less leaks.
- I don’t need to change any oil rings or any other equipment on my system to use it.
This list of things is what I have read in different sites and looks ok to me but what I have not read about it is:
- If this will work fine for an empty system like mine.
- Confirmation that for sure I don’t need a vaccum on the system.
- How to do the recharging myself, (detailed step by step).
- How many cans I need and such… (part of the step by step)
If you guys can provide input on some of this item It will be great thank you all.
Sincerely,
