ok i got the inserts and i see you get 3 sets and i try to fit them in the right spots and they are the back T mount, front tranny mount and the driver side mount… is that right also where is the tranny side mount?
Doesn’t come with the tranny side mount. The other spots are correct. I have them in my DA along with a innovative mounts auto to manual mount(for the tranny side since the car was converted). With mine though I had a problem where the driver side mount wasn’t the right one. I think I got sent the 90-91 kit and I have a 92. I ordered my set from Summit so I don’t know.
thats the worst advice i’ve seen in awhile. sorry not trying to be a jerk but ur way off. now as for someone who has bout and installed then only a month ago heres the correct answer. The ES motor mount inserts come with passanger tranny mount, front mount and driverside motor mount. it DOES NOT come with the rear T mount insert. i’m not sure how u fitted the tranny mount in the rear T mount but thats not right at all. It even comes with instructions which clearly show you the 2 side mount locations and the front mount location. it will increase vibrations in the car like crazy but it’s very solid.
oh and there is NO difference between 90-91 and 92-93 motor mounts or their inserts.
just check out http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/products.asp?cat=4177 if u think i’m wrong…
I don’t think your wrong but just like you I installed a set myself. I guess the people at Summit or ES or someone is smoking too much of something because I put my inserts in late June and the ES box had the Integra sticker on the front and the instructions said driver mount and both torque mounts(being front and rear) and the front and rear fit fine. Maybe the one I thought that was for the driver mount was for the tranny mount. But I know I had the front and rear one in with the innovative auto to manual tranny mount. Did vibrate quite a bit, especially with the A/C on.

i think you’re wrong. even your link shows that it comes with 2 different rear mounts and the front mount. this is the list of what’s included pulled straight off that website:
1 - 1082 - Rear Mount, Passenger Side
1 - 1083 - Rear Mount, Driver Side
1 - 1084 - Front Mount, Driver Side
1 - 1085 - Front Mount, Passenger Side
1 - 1086 - Rear Mount, Driver Side
1 - 1087 - Rear Mount, Passenger Side
2 - Zip Ties for 1084, 1085
2 - Zip Tie Ends
1 - Installation Instructions # 17327
there should not be a tranmission or driverside insert. only front and rear. also, there is a difference in the rubber molding of the rear mounts between 90-91 and 92-93. that is the reason for two types of rear mounts included. i installed these on my vehicle myself.
well i have 3 sets from mounts and i did a fit test… the back fits the front fits and the last mount fits on the driver side so i guess it goes there??? the fit is not super tight but its tight.
technically, the extra inserts aren’t suppose to go into the driver side mount, but if you got it to where it works, i don’t see a problem with leaving it in.
ok thats coo then im going to try it maybe it will make less vibration on the car…
definitely only comes with the 3 motor mount inserts… not the trans side mount inserts.
I’ve got these in my b20z DA. definitely tightened up the movement of the engine
i just got the prothane engine mount inserts and it says that it comes with the rear, left and right side mounts. no front mount.
Rather then start a new thread I figure I’ll just bring this one back. So anyone actually figure out which mounts the ES kit covers???
