I was over there place pickin up a few parts and took some snap shots of there prototype DA B series Front Torque/Mount Traction Bar System…looks really promising and strong… just thought id throw up some snaps and see what you guys think before I purchase it for my other project car…
Wow that does look really nice! That’s alot of relocating and throwing away parts that’s located in the front end… time for a wire tuck and other useless shit… but then again… it’s a project car… very nice piece nonetheless. :naughty:
I wouldn’t feel to safe with my engine resting on that. Then again, thats how I feel.

The motor is already mounted on the sides and rear via motor mounts… the front dampers are just an added feature for more stability on accelerations so the car won’t shake as much… I think it’s a nice piece of fabrication…
That’s a pretty trick idea for the front mount. Although to me it sort of looks like there could a lot of stress on that section of the bar where the front mount is - but then again no more than with the stock mount or on a Full Race bar setup though right!?! It does look nice though.

I know that. I also think its a nice piece of fadrication. I just wouldn’t feel safe with it.
Some finished pix of it…
Nice.
It looks like you’d have badass ground clearance with that bar. GG
so this would replace the big black one that comes on the car stock?
That’s what it looks like - a higher front crossmember replacement? I could use that. I bent that and one of the other bars from hitting ramped driveways too hard - makes(perfect) front alignment impossible.
Oh no another square bar design, i see this going the same way that Placeracing did…
This to me looks like a poor design. Im not sure about everyone else but when I buy my aftermarket traction bars im doing so for 2 things…
-I dont want my wheels moving back and forth during hard Launches at the track
-I dont want my engine to move at all.
That little swingy arm thing that is so called a mount, doesnt serve its purpose. You would have to buy aftermarket billet syle mounts in order to run this traction bar setup. If this kit cost $200 bucks it might be worth it but that tranny mount needs to be solid.
