damn, playa…Smoke to the rescue. ETD is about 20 minutes from my house and i just bought one of those ebay tri y’s, so i need the bars for my DB2. i have 2 kids and enjoy life, so, i’m willing to pay the extra for the FR. but, if the Gen2 system works 100%, i’d buy it. the funny thing is, i’ve never seen a G2 up there…ever. i wonder if they’ve actually done the extra r&d for the new set. anyway, thanks dawg.

thanks for the link, Smoke…but, some bitch out bid me. to be honest, those peole bidding on that shit must be crunk’d. it sold for $335US. an extra $90 and they could have purchased a brand new, unused part. anyway, hows the Z10? good enough? lmk

Don’t know anything about the company though, I’m gonna email and ask if they can do something so I can retain my front mount, If they’ll accomidate I will probably try it out, They have some really nice looking strut bars too

I used explicitspeeds h22 mounts for my Da and they were VERY nice quality. The welds were amazing and the steel was 1/4" thick, I would recommend them. Ill probably be buying one soon.

BTW why would you buy that ETD one in the first place it looks weaker than the stock one!

For anyone interested, the guy at explicit speed said that given a couple a weeks and 400 shipped he could accommodate the front mount, I just noticed though it looks as if the bars mount to the lca’s single-point. which kind of sucks.

Xenocron: I know the avid bars don’t have a front mount but how do they mount to the lca’s in 2 places like the stock bars?
Also was wondering if you’d have some time to answer an email full of ecu turbo tuning questions?

$400 is a bit much for that bar. especially when you have Fullrace $425 & Z10 $425 that look stronger, Z10 utilizing 10 mounting points and FR utilizing 8,but hey not knocking them. there craftsmanship on there website seem to be on point. It’s all up to you.I would wait for AVID. they seem to have everybody Hyped over theres. it’s a Negotiable price too, $320 is not much and could sway me between the other 2 mentioned.

i can only see 1 of 2 systems in my future… Z10 or FR. everything else seems under-developed and prone to failure. i mean we’ll still have to wait 6-12 months to get any informative reviews on the AVID. anybody on here sell the FR for $425 shipped?
