Ex knuckles on a DA

So I was reading some of Ben Ogles stuff about EFs and he had some information about using DA knuckles in place of the Ex knuckle for brake upgrades, the only drawback for the EF was the DA knuckle is approx. 1/4" taller.

My question, is has anyone here tried using an EX knuckle to help correct the roll center after lowering?
(If I’m not completely incorrect about how it all works)
The Ex knuckles are also to be noticeably lighter in addition.

yes fundementally you could use ef EX knuckles on your DA.

if it’s weight your trying to save in the front, why not use the EF dx/si knuckles with their smaller 9" rotor vs. 10" ex/da rotors & bulky caliper?

that way you can use 14" rims too to save weight.
