i put my hks hiper on last friday, and once everything was installed i noticed that the tip was too much to the left, almost touching the bumper… i know its supposed to be angled, but its like the last piece of piping (it came in 3 pieces) was too long or something… it is starting to melt a little bit (a 4.5 hour drive to college probably didn’t help) but you have to look pretty close… anyone have any ideas?
If your exhaust was actually meant for a 92 or 93 teg, then the piping is too long and you’ll just have to get it cut somewhere. Since I don’t really know exactly what you mean by it being too far to the left, a good suggestion would be to see if you can bend the rear hanger on your car a bit and maybe the hanger on the muffler as well. my car is a 92 (notice my sig :)) instead of the exhaust coming out the middle of the opening in the bumper, it comes extremely close to the left side of the cutout in the bumper
