exedy clutch, ebay?

well over a long debate and searching around about getting an ACT or EXEDY clutch, finally decided to go with the exedy stage 1. but does anyone know where to get it for an affordable price. ebay seems like the winner to me, but i dont really trust them. any recommendations?

Ebays the cheapest. Mines on its way

but is it trustworthy? i dont think i can wait long enough for you to install it and let it break in… anybody else have the ebay exedy stage 1 clutch and is happy with it???

i got mine from www.clutchcityonline.com fairly reasonable but the best place cost wise is ebay

i order alot from nopi.com using there ecat ive never had a issue with them. and every order i place they have called to confirm my order and kept me updated if there was a issue…
to be honest man there is a chance that your getting some exedy knock off or what ever. i wouldnt take the chance on not getting a real exedy clutch and be forced to use it. pay the extra to know what your getting. exedy is used in so many oem cars for the oem clutch… clutches are important so id pay the extra money to know what i am getting…

I bought mine on eBay and it was fine. If I believe right I ordered mine for a different car, but I was sure that it would work. A few honda’s have the same imput spline size and clutch diameter. Just do your usual research into the seller to cover your own ass.

I just bought the Exedy/Fidanza combo and I love it. Holds up great to 202 whp and 142 tq. Its the stage one organic disk. LOVE IT! And this is from a guy that had a exedy twin disk which was just insane.

^^^hey kinda off topic but is that 202whp all motor? if so whats your setup. sorry for the thread jack

hows that?

what about their other brands like XTD and gripforce?

To be honest with you. You shouldnt cheap out with main parts. Go woth exedy you dont want to do another clutch in another 2 months. My friend just ordered the exedy clutch with fidanza fly wheel for 280. Not bad price and have heard good things from those manufactures. I myself have a stage 3 ACT 6 puck and still grips after almost 2 years. I do some heavy driving and this summer when i get my LS/V im plannint on getting FIdanza flywheel and new 6 Puck clutch. But just remember you get what you pya for.

Nothing wrong with gripforceclutches [dealer]. I’ve dealt with them twice. My last purchase, I picked up my exedy organic in person to save on shipping/taxes.

No experience with the F1 flywheel combo though.

I have a Exedy stage 2 with fidanza flywheel i got from ebay for like $320 or something like that about a year ago… No problems with the clutch so far.

Nopi will price match ebay if you call them and ask, thats how I got mine. I’m running the stage 1 and exedy 12.5 lb flywheel. No complaints.
