exhaust problem(searched)

no one else seemed to have or has had this problem on here and posted about it…so i don’t have any piping after my catalytic converter. i don’t have a resonator, muffler ect. what should i do? i’m also probably going to buy a new cat because mine seems to backfire so i feel like its hollowed out or something…i’m going to get one of those direct fit catco ones.

whats the best way to go about doing it? i know you guys have heard this before, but i’m on a budget and i’m only 16. would i replace the cat and just save for a whole new cat back exhaust system(rs*r ex-mag that you guys seem to love:)) or should i get the cat then put a cherry bomb in place of the resonator and then get some other muffler? i really don’t know how to go about this and i already got pulled over for my car being “loud”. so just help me out guys please. thanks

Buy a 50-state legal universal 2.25" cat, and a piping kit made to fit your car from KTeller or something. Or find a cheap eBay catback.

It’s quite difficult to build a cheap, quality system that sounds good and will last.

You won’t find an RS*R, as they are discontinued… and they run about $600+ if you’re lucky enough to find a used one for sale.

You can buy my greddy sp2

thank you guys for your input. and how much you want for that greddy?^

so do you mean something like this? i know im a noob. lol http://store.kteller.com/borla/borla_universal_stainless_straight_tubing/30325/i-243863.aspx

That is not a kit, that’s just sections of tubing… You have to Add Vehicle and it will display full kits for your car.

Something like this: http://store.kteller.com/kteller/kteller_exhaust_piping_kits/pk9093integra225ss/i-402950.aspx

You could save a bit of cash by getting their aluminized kit… but you really want a stainless setup or you’ll be redoing it in the near future due to rust and corrosion.

Again, that is just piping… It would need to be welded together and installed.

Also a muffler and cat would be needed.

Exhaust systems are far from cheap, if you want quality.

That’s why I also mentioned eBay. It will be a lot cheaper. But the quality of manufacture, quality of materials and the sound will typically all be sub-par compared to a name brand setup.

Something like this, and you’d still need a cat: http://www.ebay.com/itm/90-93-Acura-Integra-2DR-JDM-4-Tip-Stainless-Steel-Full-Catback-Exhaust-System-/190990850374?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1993|Model%3AIntegra&hash=item2c77f11946&vxp=mtr

thanks man! yeah i was looking into ebay i really was trying to go another route but i literally don’t know whole lot about welding, the route and such and i dont have a lot of space to work on my car(no garage) and its 19 degrees out here in mi. i have a friend that welds but it probably easier to just install a ebay one for now. because im strapped on cash as far as an exhaust but i guess ill test the ebay one out and while i have that ill just save for something better like the tanabe or something(open to suggestions). but hopefully, in the next couple of months i can buy something better with taxes coming soon. but thanks a lot! haha
