just put 2 1/4 piping with a magnaflow muffler but left stock cat and resonator but the car sounds really quiet…
Could it be that i left the stock equipment on the car or should i take off the res. to make the tone a lil louder?
but keep in mind i dnt want it to sound to raspy or tinny… maybe im just gonna have to stick with it tell i have more cash to buy a magnaflow resonator and maybe that will help…
but if anyone has a video clip of there magnaflow exhaust with stock cat and resonator please post it… thanks in advance
be happy. I got 2.5" with a magnaflow muffler and magnaflow high flow cat and it’s loud as shit.
try a high flow cat. you’d be surprised how restrictive those things really are.
if your looking to make it louder, remove or try and find a smaller resonator(length, not diameter).
ya i guess it could be the cat but i still would of thought the stock resonator wouldn’t have silenced it that much ? its only about 12in long .
I always hear people say the longer the resonator the deeper 18" to 21" long would sound great… maybe because they run it without the cat…
well ill try and post a video of it and see just how loud it is because i punch it and it barly gets loud in the cab… i havent heard it from outside yet myself so maybe ill get someone to rev it while i record…
Just remember a louder exhaust doesn’t make you any faster, but it will attract the attention of people you dont want it too. Johny Law specifically. Just a thought 
yes i know louder dont mean faster but some tegs that have that deep low tone just sound real dam good… but i am trying to upload a video of the exhaust but cant figure the new system out on here ill keep trying though…
and off topic i did notice that smoke was coming out of the exhaust at around 5k and up so do ya think it could be head gasket? no smoke at idle or driving norm… just high revving thanks
