i want to order a spec 2 for my da and i was wondering if the exhaust for an ef hatch will fit a da…i had a spec 2 on my eg and i tried to mount it n it was to long so im not sure if maybe the eg hatch exhaust will fit or if id be better off buying one for an ef since buddy club doesnt make one for the da
You can make the ef exhaust work you just need to extend it. I took an exhaust from my crx and put it on my da. You may have to weld in a little extra pipe in the front and maybe a small piece comming across the back. Not exactly sure, I paid $80 and got it done haha. Heres a pic of it.
hey wasup! well i bought a spec 2 for my da! before i continue! their is kinda of alot of cutting involved i made a total of about 8 cuts and alot of welding. and in the proses of instaling my buddy club i also took the time to hack up my bumper and move my exaust outlet hole to the right side! if i was a bit more computer sabby i would post pic’s
Try to put more info in yout topic titles… “IACV Help” rather than “HELP!!”, or “ef exhaust on da?” Rather than “exhaust ???”, etc. It helps people know more about your topic without having to actually read the whole thing… But more importantly it helps the Search funtion work better.
As far as the question at hand… Yes, an EF exhaust is shorter than a DA exhaust. If you know how to weld, or are willing to pay someone to cut and weld for you, then it is definitely possible to use it on your teg. But if you’re looking for something to just bolt right in, then no it will not work for you.
