its bothering me that i have this clump of extra hoses just sitting around and not doing anything. i installed the cold air and the extra hoses off the stock intake are left. is there and way i can get them off?
i was going to just cut them off the little coolant pipe that theyre attached to but that metal piece holding them together proved to be an issue.
well, actually you don’t even need that whole piece, just take it off and buy a new vaccum hose tube that is long enough to reach from point a to b.
On my recent setup I did away with most of that tubing as I used a throttlebody-mounted MAP sensor and catch can… the best thing you could do is run just rubber hoses and get rid of the metal assembly. Tuck the rubber hoses and hide them as much as possible. But yes that tube is tough to cut through, just delete it and use straight rubber hose.
