Well hell. Looks like I posted this in the wrong place.
Sorta makes sense with the day I’m having.
The only time this has ever happened to me is when a vacuum line popped off. Did you do anything before the problem began that could help provide a clue?
make sure you don’t have air in the coolant if that’s not it look into your fast idle valve, fix or replace
check to make sure you dont have air in coolant/cooling system
clean out idle air control valve
clean out fast idle thermo valve
Once the car is warmed up, disconnect the intake and cover up one of the two ports just inside the throttle body (lower one I think). If it stops surging, your cold/fast idle valve is bad. FYI, you
