thanks guys, any other comments/suggestions?
Sorry Jon… I eat korean food though… and I love the girls, even though my dad was a prisoner of war
Well I have my g-force sports on my car now. As promissed I would give you a review. Well I’ve only been driving on the street with them for a few days now and I’m so far impressed. They a very smooth on Virginia’s crappy roads and quiet. It only rained once since I’ve had them and they seem to do very well. I’ll be auto-xing in them next week so that will be the real test. If you need anymore input let me know.
thanks a lot for getting back with us, please report back how they do on the track
later

G-force sports aren’t near the level of grip of the azenis.
Well I autocrossed on my G-force sports today and wasn’t to happy. The overall grip of the tires wasn’t that impressive. Maybe if the tires could have gotten hotter they would have been better. But I’ll try a couple of things to see if the tires improve.
I don’t know why you would have even thought the g-force Sports would have been even remotely comperable to Azenis. The Sport is two lines below the ‘comperable’ BFG tire. Here’s a list in order of ‘stick’ of BFG’s tires.
BFG g-force TA KD: comperable to Azenis
BFG g-force TA KDW: not comperable to the above tire
BFG g-force Sport: not comperable to the above tire.
I currently am running the RT-615s. Not a bad replacement. Really enjoy the heat. Especially here in the heat of Atwater. Right now probably due to the full tread I run, it does seem to have some “crawl” to them. This wekend the course I designed (a thank you!) it favored the driver front. Needed to wet after the second run. I am getting some sidewall flex also. A lot more then the RT-215. But with the 3.0 negative camber I run that is helping. Bump the pressure up to around 44 in front and running RT-215s in the back with 35. I used to run 38-40 with the RT-215s last year.
Hope it helps.
Oh, also I am running 15x7 Kosei K1 TS with the 205/50
thanks for the comments guys
keep them coming
Well I didn’t say that they were comparable to the Falkens. Don’t get me wrong but the Azenis are a great tire but I need something that’s going to last a little while and be good in the rain. Virginia’s rainy ass weather isn’t very forgiving. I bassically bought these tires beause they were advertised as a good street/strip tire at a decent price. But who knows, I didn’t even have one thousand miles on the tires pefore I autocrossed on them.
The Sports aren’t even a street/track tire. They’re more of a performance street tire. If someone wanted a street/track tire, out of the BFG’s I would reccomend the KDW-2. If someone’s looking for a street/track tire, you’re looking at about a 300 treadwear or lower rating.
I’m not sure you can even get out of the cheap shit at a 300 tread rate. I’ve got NT450’s on my car and these are SERIOUSLY CHEAP-ASS TIRES. I bought them because they were cheap-ass, but now I’ve learned. I wouldn’t get anything LESS than Proxes4’s or GForce Sports now, especially for Solo II racing. I’m getting either the RS-2’s or the Ecsta MX’s for my next set.
