Fan speed only works on highest setting..

My blower fan only works on the highest setting. Any clue on why? The switch maybe? Do I have to tear out the whole front end of the dash to replace it? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

its the blower motor resistor. this problem has been delt with before. try searching…

thanks man, you rule. Anyone know how to replace that part? Is it under the wiper cowl, or do i have to take off the friggin dash? Thanks guys.

you have to remove the glovebox. There are two screws that hold it onto the blower housing. 10 minute job
