well i guess most of you guys know me by now… yah i’m one of the g2 owners that got stuck with a auto… but hey you take it a step at a time… anyways as i said before… i had fpr and cam gears to put on car and now they are on… cams is set on +2 -2 and fpr… unknow psi… just semi tight… i messed around with the AFC a while but i never really rev above 4500+ rpm to test the power cause i’m afraid of getting another tickets… well tonight when i took my friend home… goonies i testeed her out … i did it on this pretty tight turn and i gun it… and it felt a tad bit stronger than before the cam gears and fpr. but when it hit 4500-5000 the rpm just went for it… it must of went from 4500 - redline… 6600 i think in like 1 second this is in my first gera but it’s still very impressive and it def hauls ass in that rpm range… well i’m getting my car dyno tuned this wednesday so hopefully my car will be like that in more rpm ranges… cause only feeling it 4500+ in a non-vtec auto car won’t be too good… cause when it shifts the rpm prob drops down like 4500 and the power has to build up again. but i gotta say… you get cams you need the whole setup to complete it… I/H/E and fuel FPR/AFC and timing cam gears… it makes a huge huge difference. my car feels like v-tec now… i sat in my friends b17a v-tec and it kinda feels like that now. not sure about 3 rd gear though did not get that fast. but even in 2nd that baby pulls.
maybe you should get a Fuel Pressure Gauge (B&M $35 shipped from groupbuycenter.com) to figure out fuel pressure? not sure if AFC will do that…
will i’m getting it dyno tune so it doe’sn tmatter whatever works best… but yah evantually i’ll get one… but i kinda wanna get a aem fuel rail and gauge upgrade.
