Been a long time since I’ve been here, let alone in a da! 4 long years since I sold my last da for a dc. Happy to say, I picked up another da! I’ll try and keep this short.
it’s a 93 ls. Bone stock. 150k. Blown auto trans. 99% rust free, just a few tiny spots starting to show.
I plan on doing an auto to manual/hydro swap, using everything off my dc.
Also plan on swapping over all the suspension components.
Last bit, maybe see if the dc dash fits in the da.
Anyways. Thats it for now. Updates and plans as they come!

Oh! I got a new trans for it and she’s back on the road now been a solid 13 years since I drove an auto g2. I forgot they don’t have an overdrive… Got worried goin above 3k at 70ish lol kept waiting for a shift…
What are you talking about. They do have overdrive it’s S4.
If you leave it in (D), it shifts to overdrive on its own. If you put it in (3), you have to push the button on the side of the shifter to get OD. It is a “Sport” OD, though, so it has different shift points/characteristics. :auto:
3K at 70 mph sounds about right, for being in overdrive. They sure don’t have a low cruising RPM.
I guess I just expected the “overdrive” to be at a lot lower rpm for freeway cruising. And yes I’m well aware of the ol s3 s4. I remember because it didnt work on my first car haha.
Does anyone know if a dc2 front sub will bolt up to the da? Every search ive tried just comes up with eg/dc in ek’s. My old gsr has a new rack and tie rods that I wouldnt mind using. Along with plenty of new bushings. (The gsr needs an engine and was also rear ended)
