Hey,
I have spent all afternoon googling various arrangments of the words “hood”,“fiberglass”, and “90-93 integra” and have had no luck in finding an oem style fiberglass hood. So I was wondering if any of you guys have seen them for sale recently. I am going to be repainting my teg and want something lightweight.
Thanks
I only remember seeing one, once, and that was a couple years ago, but i dont remember the site. Your best bet might be painting a CF hood, if you cant find the fiberglass one you are looking for.
Are you looking for one simply for weight savings? You might try cutting a few of the hood supports out of your factory hood before continuing the quest for a fiberglass unit.
I found one made by MB Products. Thanks guys
is fiberglass lighter than carbon fiber?? My buddy has a VIS OEM carbon fiber hood and even though it looks like a million bucks its not all that much lighter than a stock hood.
Got any links for the fiberglass hoods you found?
Wow that’s funny. I noticed a huge difference in the weight of my Seibon CF hood than my OEM hood. Good thing i chose Seibon!!! Great quality, fitment and staff!!! (sorry for the shameless plug)

Fiberglass and carbon are close in weight. However inexpesive carbon hoods are usually just fiberglass with a carbon skin for looks, which is slightly heavier. And since I just want it for weight savings and plan on painting it I don’t want to pay $500 for a hood that does the same thing as a $300 one.
cervini has fiberglass hoods for Da’s
cervini’s fiberglass hood for the DA is :gay:
Not wanting to un bury the dead but…
I tried locating a fiberglass hood and have had absolutely no luck! All of the old vendors no longer manufacture them.
Anybody have anybody that still does them? Cervini’s are lame!
