Filter relocation!!!

i dunno. i end up feeling kind of weird (like seasick) when i lay down there for too long. that and i end up getting crap in my eyes or laying over a pebble or a bolt… i gladly avoid it whenever i can.
nope. i made my own with a wet dry vac and a water jug.

really? how? last i checked, you were the one who was going to spend $225 on a filter relocation kit…
Come down dude…who the fk said I was going to spend my cash on that piece of shit and create problems due to oil pressure. I just wanted to hear opinions on this. chill pill.

Yeah me too dude… that’s why I try to change it real quick and get the fcuk out from under there… I hate working under the car. Every time I work under the car… I always end up with a headache… ruins my whole day! :vomit:

i can get a couple better pics this weekend if you want. i have it set up so that it uses the lower battery bracket holes on the frame…

Please take some closer pictures and such… if no one else is interested, I am definitely interested in seeing the kit up close.

As for getting under the car… wear some safety glasses to keep crap out of your eyes… I wear contacts, so safety glasses (or even goggles at times) are ALWAYS worn under the car. And how do you get a headache? How do you SLEEP at night if laying down gives you a headache? I understand to a point… but that is because I have spent too much time under the back of my car with my head pointed DOWN the driveway…

Because when I’m under the car, I lay on a piece of cardboard and kinda bend my head up so it doesn’t touch the ground then after that I get out from under the car and stand up… head rush? LOL I don’t kow but I do get a headache hehe.

Sleeping at night is different… you’re in bed with a nice pillow and stuff

The way it’s mounted… wouldn’t it affect oil pressure since the oil has to work it’s way upward to the filter then back down? Just curious…

Wouldn’t it be better mounted lower to the fender or something…

pressure is pressure

The filter is not much higher than the stock position… there is not some huge pressure drop in oil… you just have to make sure to add additonal oil to the system when you change since the volume is going to be greater…

sorry for the poor photos

so then why would you even want a review on it if you weren’t thinking about buying it? just to shoot the breeze with people? if you want to do that, get a job at an office that has a water cooler and stand by it.

:umno:
