Finally Dyno tuned my car!

Thanks man, yeah I’m putting an LSVTEC in for a bit to get the car mobile for this summer but next Spring my new set up SHOULD be done. So hopefully I can make it out to the next meet.

Dude, busted sleeve, that sucks. LSV should be fun though.
I just watched Hay gurls video over on nw-built then jumped over here and seen your post. Your getting around.

that’ll be an nice set up. ill do some swap soon with mine. i hope i can make it to a next meet too. i need new motor mounts, swap and ect lol. ill post a build thread soon and see what everyone thinks.

sucks to hear about the cracked sleve but good luck on your next set up

Rich is the man! He knows his shit! Im gonna go to him when I get my car tuned

Thanks man! New set up will be a Benson Sleeved B18C1, 12.5:1 CR, bigger cams, and ITB’S.

And yes it will be Richtuned again

how muxh does it run to get it sleeved by benson i have a b20b block in the midst of being built but it will be sleeved

Golden Eagle is right around $1250
Benson is a little less stable for super high boost applications but it is right around the same ballpark at $1200.

alright well i dont plan on going super highon boost prolly right around 20lbs maybe depending on how i feel that day haha.

i just rebored my benson’s sleeved b18c to 84.5mm with about 370whp. i remember reading somewhere that you shouldn’t bore more then 84mm if you plan on making more then 500whp or something like that. so at 81mm it can handle tons of power. and n/a you can bore up to 87mm.

You would be correct. Golden Eagle even states they don’t recommend over 85 (I’m pretty sure) for boost. Benson sleeves are a different design and I was talking to Rich that he wouldn’t use them if you are shooting for over 800whp. The new GE sleeves have the extra support that runs up 2" or so to help keep them in place.

I don’t have to worry about that since I am building a NA car with high compression, which is why I’m choosing to run the Benson sleeves.

trick ass whore

Love you tim

Rich is the man lol.ive been wanting to get my current setup tuned but something else keeps going wrong that needs fixed.
