This is my first post here. I am a long time honda enthusiast, and this forum looked like the closest thing to the CRX forum (CRXCommunity.com) that I am heavily involved in.
Ive always wanted a DA, Ive had alot of 3rd gen integras and they always were meh, except for my baby. She was taken away by an 18yo girl running a stop sign and tboning me
Finally I found this:
Its even got some VTAK. One owner, complete service history, no rust. ORIGINAL PAINT
Introducing, the rarest integra made in the US
Banana Dance
Copious amounts of dealer paperwork, current to date
B17A1
uber clean interior
rust free!
Random Shots
what do yall think? Hopefully Ill be able to add some value to your site here, and learn a few things at the same time.
Thanks, I will keep it super clean that is for sure. It has 208k on it right now, but it is in impeccable condition. The only downside is that it needs piston rings, though not badly.
I was going through my spare parts and I found an SiR-G VLSD that should fit it if I can find a 14bolt FD. That’ll be a nice addition.
nice find. i bought a 93 gsr a few months ago from a first owner. i have alot of papers just like you do. the full price for mine when first bought is- 18,625.i guess its because of the Lojack. mine is red too and just spun a bearing lol. good luck with it.
Very nice find, and it’s amazing that there isn’t any
rust on it for a New England car.
Keep a look out for some DA meets that we actually
like to have in Rhode Island when the weather gets nice again.
Nice find and by the way all 90-93 integras were made in Japan. It is nice to see a Red GSR that is not pink from UV damage. What CRX forums are you on? I’ve been looking for a CRX forum.
So far because of this board I was able to purchase a mint set of JDM headlights, and my set of missing rear mudflaps.
I will be modifying the car a bit, but nothing too wild and nothing irreversible. I already dedicated 2 shelves to the stock parts so I wont lose anything over time. It needs rings so Ill probably drop the motor in the spring and freshen it up with some higher compression pistons. I also have a new in box set of crower camshafts and used ITR valvetrain from my old motor. Hopefully I can find a 14bolt FD and pit in this sir-g vlsd.
The ABS pump has failed, so I got a delete kit off this board as well. I threw my RTP in it to get a base tune on it, and am dialing it in quite nicely. Aesthetically its going to get a good detailing, some tint and hopefully a rear lip. I already installed my QR Grant wheel and my Fastline shifter. I also modified the shift linkage with a zero play joint to replace the stock tired ujoint. Coupled with some new stabilizer bushings the shifting is now amazing.
Now I just need to decide on some suspension and Ill be set for a bit.
Ill try to keep updates on here. I love this car so much.
NEUCivic04: haha, locked up in my garage I keep the WRX outside now!
lsjdmteg through jdecks23: thanks!
AllmansTEG: itll stay that way. I also have a rust free CRX! haha. Garages ftw I will keep my eyes open, we have Subaru meets down at the narragansett seawall in teh summer, its a great picture spot!

2ndjenn: Is should have said sold in the US, not made CRXCommunity.com is the board I am on. It is the biggest and IMO the best crx forum in existence!
my CRX, before I put the new motor back in.
Hey man I just noticed your from ganset!! I recognized the wall. I grew up in Newport and lived in Scarborough when I went to URI. I live in Boston now, also I have a daily WRX wagon same color as well. Have we met??
yeah, im sticking to these 3. The CRX, GS-R and the WRX. Sadly that S13 in teh pics is almost complete and has to be delivered soon, it has been a beast tearing up the streets and I will miss it so much.
The teggy will be all cleaned up for spring/summertime meets and good times. We’ll be having another huge bbq meet at the shop this spring, Ill make sure to extend out the invite to my new G2IC friends! Free food and cool cars what could be better?
