Finally found a 92 GSR

1992 GSR purchased in Calfornia 2.9.14 for $3,200. I’ve searched several yrs to find this specific yr, model, trim and color. I’ve found several nice ones, but not at the price I wanted to pay. The only non-factory part on the car is a K&N intake, Kenwood deck and an aftermarket shift knob. Everything else is completely stock. 140,400 miles on the original B17. The motor feels great. VTEC kicks in around 5,500 RPM. No accidents, but has several dings, scratches and faded paint. Interior is pretty fresh. No tears or stains in the front or back seats.

I’ve had 2 other integras in the past. I had a 1995 GSR in white purchased new. It was completely stock, had about 130,000 miles on it. The car was stolen in front of my house. I liked the car but didn’t love it. The other integra was a 1993 RS which I lowered on Teins, threw on some rims, had it painted and then sold it after driving it around for 2 years. After selling the RS about 10 years ago, I knew I made a mistake because I loved driving that car. It wasn’t very fast, it wasn’t the best handling car. It wasn’t the nicest looking car. But it was the most fun to drive. I liked how light and responsive it was. Since then, I’ve searched for the car below. It’s not pretty but when I’m done with it, it will be. And, I will never sell this car…ever.

Any suggestions on paint & body shops in San Diego would be appreciated. Also would like to know what you guys think as far as lowering the car. I need a set up that I can daily drive. I was leaning towards getting some neuspeed springs but I also think coil overs would be the best long term choice. I also need to replace the factory exhaust. By the looks of it, it needs to be scrapped.

I’ll be running the stock rims til the tires are worn out. After that, I’ll probably search for a set of Volks.

looks sick man! as far as lowering it i’d get some coilovers but i wouldn’t slam it if i were you but thats my opinion. i like a nice lowered look but not dumped or anything. but again man nice find! just keep her nice

Nice find! Sounds like with a little body work and some paint she will be really nice. Not bad mileage either

Nice find…

Sweet! Good price, I paid $3500 for my white DB2 with dings and bad paint. I now have probably $10k in it and it sits in the garage most of the time just sitting pretty  Trying to break in the new B18C I just finished building so driving it a little more than usual.
