Well Julia and I took a trip to the local strip last weekend and ran the Teg. I know I can run better times than this but I had a hell of a time with traction. This time is with spin through first and part of second. I stuck better the second run but then missed second. DOH! So I’m not gonna post that one. But here ya go check out that reaction time!
Sorry it’s sideways, a friend snapped the shot.

The only mods are a Stage 2 Exedy Racing Clutch and all the free mods I’ve found. The Teg has 207,000 miles on the motor.
What do mean that reaction times sucks?? I know with the .5 system that would be a red light but with the zero set-up and especially with this being my first ever trip down the strip that is an awesome reaction time.

Not bad times at all, especially for the first time. My 1st time was a 16.3 - 16.2- 16.7 (spinning). Being in the 16’s is very depressing for me. I suck at launching the teg.
No that isn’t a red-light. The local track uses the .0 system not the .5. Yeah the 60’ time sucks because I couldn’t get any traction. I plan on picking up a cheap set of wheels and mounting some slicks to help out.
The .5 system pretty much starts the clock at .5.
The tires and rims are stock, I had full interior. I wasn’t even planning on running but did anyway so the only stuff I took out of the car was the junk I had in the trunk. Still had the seats, spare tire, jack, etc, etc. The tires are about bald and the motor has a vacuum leak since the brake booster is going out. So all in all I’m pretty satisfied with my time.
