Seems your on track with wet sanding and using the right grit, then again, that’s dependent how bad the orange peel is and thickness of the paint.
When you’re done sanding, use a polish dependent on how it looks when you’re done sanding. Go to Meguairs web site for there list of polishes and get what you need. Personally i would use a medium grade to start and see what occurs after that. The way i understand is to let paint cure for 60 days to allow curing, etc. My go to wax currently is 476s Collinite, cheap and durable, but produces a quality shine.

give ur thoughts everyone

i would try a small area with 2000 grit wet sand and hit it with polish of your choice(i like meguiars 83 polish then after use swirl free polish) if that doesnt work then i would go with a 1500 grit wet sand then move on up to 2000
