Its been a while since I posted on here and been a while since i’ve put some money into the teg. I’ve been hanging around my honda buddies some more and now i’m sort of motivated. I guess I should start on my summer project. Need to put on my AC belt, Shocks, seats, new rack, rebarrel some rims, cams to put in and oil pan needs a new gasket. I might also take out my ES motor mount inserts so its easier to drive to work.

Anyone have suggestions for shocks? I have some GC and used shocks from a friend. Shocks might be ok but if i’m going to buy shocks then wouldn’t check coilovers be about the same price?
Suggestions for seats? Mine are all torn up.

Well… what kind of seats do you want?

Aftermarket seats tend to require aftermarket rails, which is spendy… Typically it’s easier just to find a set of OE seats.

a little more information about the kind of driving being done would be helpful in determining suspension setup…

Yeah, Looked for some stock seats but can’t find any in good condition. So was thinking of getting some fake recaros or bride. Anyone have issues with those?

As for shocks I was just thinking of normal street driving now.

Also finished one of my wheels. So now its a 16x8 super fin. :slight_smile: Have to test fit it now.

Or maybe putting in some evo recaros. Anyone give that a try before?

Finshed a wheel and finally took some test pics. Need to get a camber kit.

Evo9 Recaro seats are awesome. One of my friends has bought 3 sets, one for each of his cars. They aren’t the best looking but they’re comfy.
