does anybody else think that the flex gasket in the exhaust sucks? im always having trouble with mine

i dont know if its loose or what but ever since i got my tsudo exhaust it just makes metal on metal noise
Doulbe check on how tight the bolts are that hold the 2 pipes together and make sure it’s not hitting the heat shield under the car.
i dont think its hitting the heat sheild. it only does it when the revs are about idle. i messed with it a while ago and it didnt do it till the hanger after the muffler broke about 2 months, and i just got it fixed yesterday.
Weird. Thats the only thing I can think of. I had the same problem a while back. Except mine was hitting the heat shield when ever I reved it a little (not all the way to redline).
eh, ill have to take it to tires plus and have them fix it. i barely have any room to work in my drive way and the bolts on that part of the exhaust are to tight for my hand tools. i might need a new flex gasket though cause the roads in ohio sucked and my exhaust bounced alot so it might have got torn up
If you still have the stock exhaust manifold, the A-pipes are notorious for breaking their welds and rattling.
well whats a good cheap set of headers? ive heard megan headers are good. and im thinking it is going to be hard to get my present headers off seeing as how they are the factory headers and have never been takin off
You only have one header, and Megan headers are decent for the cheap price if your only consideration is replacing your stock manifold. But if you are going to build a beast of a motor, then you will need to invest in a better header.
im not planing on keeping my DA that long. i just want to get it decent enough to sell
