I have an unknown aftermarket lightweight flywheel currently installed on my car; I bought it used, it has no markings on it and is about 9lbs. When I got it machined last time, the machine shop mentioned that the friction surface is very close to the screws and cannot be machined again. Here’s my question, are the replacement friction surfaces out there (Fidanza, Clutchmasters etc) pretty universal, or am I pretty much screwed finding one that will work in this application?
