I have 4 fog lights
My fog lights do not work. There was a short in the original wiring before I installed the extra two fogs. So I made a positive wire and a negative wire for my fogs.
I connected the wiring, put the negative on the chassis and the positive on the battery and they all turned on.
Now trying to connect the positive wire to my OEM fog switch. I connected it to the Red/Blue wire which has the 12v for the fogs as shown in this diagram I found. None of the lights turned on, so I tried the Red/Black wire didn’t work either. I replaced both fuses, (Yellow/Red wire is connected to the rear defrost), replaced switch (with extra one I had) and nothing. What can be the problem.? All I need is power for the positive line I have. (I want to be able to use my OEM fog switch.)
