Im not asking for help this is just a thought that came to me today
My accords foglights turn off when you turn on the highbeams. This is because the highbeam is seperate from the lowbeam. Federal regulation requires your vehicle to have no more than 4 outputs of light at a time running. If my accords foglights stayed on with the highbeams i would have 6 outputs of light, so the foglights turn off.
With the integra the highbeams and lowbeams are in the same bulb. So you would still only have 4 outputs of light even with the foglights running.
So why do they turn off?
They consider the individual filament as an output, not the bulb.

I know because i have a lowbeam out in one bulb and a high beam out in another. So when i put on my high beams it switches headlights lol.
because everywhere else in the world no governments care enough to worry about how many lights can be on at once, or how many reflectors a car needs to have.

ive been contemplating a set of roof racks, as my bike is getting all scratched to hell from the hatch closing on it.
but not only that, i live in the south and rednecks with big pickups have their headlights aimed just right that my factory height car gets all lit up in my face at night. it hurts, they do it on purpose. i personally know some 'necks who admit it.
with that said, i think im going to mount a set of those hella offroad lamps to my roof rack deflector, itll look tacky as hell, but i dont give a shit; i NEED to get payback for these rednecks.
and im not going to follow any stupid regulation about only having 4 lights on at a time. with two more lights ill have 6 that can go on at once in the front of the car (maybe ill get some HIDs too). if i mod a set of ebay one-pieces, potentially 8 light sources. truck blinding commence.

if it wasnt for a university in the closest city, i would disagree.
recently, i witnessed a car get jumped through an old mobile home. a 9 year old boy who chews dip and gives black people the N word, the latter with his parents approval. a john deere tractor race… through a course in a crowded cow field.
Damn… Well nevermind. That’s some messed up shit. Black people here don’t play. That kid wouldn’t be recognizable for very long. And I mean because of kids his own age.
