I had no idea this was fixable. So glad people are doing this!
Yup and if you have the right soldering gear, replacing any of the basic electronic components that go bad (like capacitors) seems pretty doable too, kinda just replacing in-kind.
Luckily these older boards have stuff you can still see to fix. Everything is still somewhat large in comparison to today’s printed circuit boards.
