It works with 2k and XP also.
hmm. that works. but i still wouldnt wanna have to program the thing to modify output LOL…
i know alot about computers and have built and done tech support for PC’s for quite some time, but i have no interest in learning to program… i took a few programming courses in college… hated them all. LOL
anyone used a pyrometer to help tune their car?
although they compare prices of these different units, How much can it differ over time once the setup is tuned. I understand that once anything is modified to the vehicle the numbers arent worth anything, but I know of many shops around here that have a motec setup and tune cars on the dyno in conjunction with the lambda meter and they get great results IMO. So I guess what I’m trying to say is, theis will prolly not be an item someone gets right after an I/H/E install and will only be worthwhile $ for $ on an almost “finished” setup whatever that may be for the driver’s tastes, so why purchase one? I can understand purchasing an O2 sensor that is more accurate constantly, if there is such a thing maybe I skipped over that in the article, but from what I’m getting, we’re talking about tuning a car’s air/fuel ratio.
